Sketches for "From Dread Daedra Save Us"

Sketches for my art on the subject of the contract of Sotha Sil and the eight Daedra. Full art can be seen on the link below.

From the very beginning, I imagined this scene in such a way that all daedra will stand on pieces of stones - on the ground or in the empty space of the sky, but they will each stand on their own stone.

Sota Sil restricted the actions of the daedra by his agreement - and I thought that the idea with chains around the daedra’s hands would be good, but then I refused this option.

At first, I also had versions that the stones would be arranged in a circle, and there would be Sotha Sil in the center, but later - made their location more chaotic, and not horizontal - but vertical.

The colors on some sketches are my attempts to imagine the colors with which I thought to associate the daedra. In the final work, each of them has its own gamut.
